About the Role

 

The key challenge in this role is balancing supply with demand whilst keeping the business informed of any potential gaps. Reacting to events such as raw material / packaging supply availability, operational output variation, demand variability & weather fluctuations by adjusting inbound deliveries and operational plans to meet customer requirements can be very challenging.

 

Duties

  • Ensure the site is provided with feasible production and material schedules, in daily time buckets.

    Maintain and own the site production and material scheduling process to ensure consistency between weekly supply plans (MPS) and daily schedules.

  • Validate the daily production schedule to ensure that all produce materials and other resources are available and the plan is executable.

  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines in a busy environment

  • Nature of fresh produce business means that factory operations are 7 days/week and may require person to be on call on a w/e roster, step up to full time during peak periods/leave coverage

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in business administration, preferably scheduling and planning

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Be flexible and adapt quickly to a changing environment

  • High attention to detail
