About the Role

 

Due to significant business growth we are seeking an experienced Labour Coordinator to support the operation at our salad processing facility in Bibra Lake, Perth.

 

Reporting into the Site Manager and providing administrative support to the site HR Manager, you will coordinate labour resourcing requirements, including labour sourcing, recruitment, induction, rostering and scheduling of production positions to enable the site to deliver on production demand. 

 

Duties

  • Coordinate accurate rostering for short and medium term production requirements and assist in labour planning for production peaks
  • Assist with internal and external recruitment activities
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies for placement of production employee’s
  • Coordinate and administer on-boarding and induction of employees in production
  • Manage & govern roster system, including ESS for employee leave applications
  • Organise necessary payroll documentation for processes
  • Maintain and roster employee working arrangements in accordance with Enterprise Agreement
  • Day to day management and monitoring of labour absenteeism and coordination of labour replacement
  • Ensure the alignment of people and skill with production plan requirements.
  • Manage and administer employee cessation processes

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast past production environment
  • Experience in labour scheduling and rostering to support production planning
  • Knowledge of industrial relations legislation
  • Proficient in rostering systems and MS Office suite
  • Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated relationship building skills
