    About the Role

     

    We are now seeking an experienced yet dynamic Site Manager to help us to grow our fast-paced, complex, high care food-processing site in Perth. This role reports directly into the GM – Operations and is responsible for the growth and success of our Bibra Lake factory.

     

    Duties

     

    • 'Hands-on' approach to management and leadership to support the growth of a complex facility
    • Drive a positive culture change across site with focus on continuous improvement principles
    • Deliver clear strategic direction to the Site in line with and supporting the overarching business strategy
    • Manage factory operations including Technical, Supply, Operations and Maintenance whilst also working collaboratively with other national sites as part of national leadership team
    • Ensure OH&S compliance and relevant community awareness
    • Deliver plans for site change and improvement in a sustainable manner with an engaged workforce
    • Maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders, internally & externally including but not limited to, local and state Government, growers and suppliers and customers
    • Build community relations and engage factory personnel to decrease absenteeism and support future recruitment needs

     

    Skills

     

    • Experience in FMCG or Short Shelf Life processing or chilled products
    • Ability to work at a fast pace and flex to the needs of an ever-changing business
    • A sense of urgency to prioritise site tasks and focus on delivery
    • Proven competencies when managing total site functionality as well as operations/production
    • Computer proficiency in MS Office and ability to pick up new systems quickly
    • Refined communication skills and ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
    • Polished commercial acumen to deliver to budget and timeframes
    • Driven culture change across an underperforming site to turn-around performance
