    About the Role

     

    With our recent growth, a great opportunity has become available for an experienced Production Team Leaders (2IC) to join our organisation. The successful person will be responsible for leading teams and exceeding production targets.  You will use your skills and knowledge in FMCG to add value to our Bairnsdale site.

     

    Duties

    • Supervise and work alongside teams of Process Workers
    • maintain high standards of GMP and HACCP requirements through hygiene tasks
    • Work in a cold room environment (between 2oC and 6oC)
    • Cover shifts across a 24/7 factory
    • Work safely and adhere to food hygiene rules
    • Repetitive movements and standing for long periods required in all roles
    • Operate food processing equipment
    • entry of data onto computer system

    Skills & Experience

    • Passionate and enthusiastic with a positive leadership style approach
    • Ability to work at a very fast pace with a focus on achieving KPI’s
    • Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment
    • Experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transport to get to your shifts
    • High attention to detail
    • A recent or current experience in FMCG will be highly regarded
    • confident with computer skills
    • background in hygiene work, including around the safe operation of chemical use / training
